The index works as a map of the site. There is a list of contents, activities, evaluation activities and links for each of the units of the hypertext. Each unit is divided into four stages: Opening, Introduction, Development and Closure.	It provides indications on how to use and take the most advantage of the hypertext. Follow the description, explanations and examples step by step before actually starting to study or practise and enjoy this tool.	This unit deals with different instances or situations in which youngsters seek advice from different people. Who do they ask for help? How do they ask for help? Writing letters to councellors in magazines? Making calls to radio programmes? Other ways? What language elements do they use for this?	Two of the elements, earth and water are the central topic of this unit. You will get to know about great earthquakes and about the chemical composition of drinking water; you will have the opportunity to express your opinions through dialogues and by writing your own evacuation plan for your school.
The topic of this unit is work, including different professions and technical jobs; you will read about part-time jobs, with suggestions to be successful if you are searching for one and you will listen to different radio advertisements offering full and part-time jobs. You will share and express opinions.	This unit will give you the opportunity to analyse and reflect on the importance of being active in order to have a healthy life. Through the different texts, you will get to know different alternatives to achieve this and you will also have the opportunity to express your opinions about the topic.	The topic of this unit is creativity, which is used to design devices or machines that simplify our life, from the oldest and simplest, like the light bulb, to the most modern and most complex, like GPS. You will also have a look at some unusual creations and give your opinion about them.	In this unit you will have the opportunity to read about volunteer work and you will listen to a job interview; you will get to know about different types of work and a variety of work experiences. You will be able to classify jobs according to areas and you will talk and write about your own ideas in the field of work.
